Pesto is a really nice young male with a strong foundation and a bright future ahead. Bred from proven lines—Wonka and Eden are both established Open North American leaders, with Eden being a littermate to my top leader Elon—he carries the genetics you want in a performance dog.

He’s had an excellent introduction to harness work this past season. Pesto has seen multiple opportunities in lead and has shown solid early promise in that position. At his age, he still needs time and miles, but the tools are there.

He’s an energetic, happy dog with a fun personality—lots of attitude and excitement, which is typical of the Wonka line. He moves well with a smooth, ground-covering stride and natural power. This spring he was worked extensively on passing and repassing, and handled it very well.

Pesto is a great eater, has strong feet, and carries himself with nice balance and proportion. Overall, he’s an easy dog to have around—good-minded, enjoyable, and full of life.

A well-rounded young prospect that would continue to develop nicely, and would also make a great addition to a smaller kennel looking for energy and personality.
